Upon arrival, we were greeted with an atmosphere that seamlessly blends comfort and charm. The dances of little boats in the harbor added to the serene ambiance, making it the perfect backdrop for our meal.

We opted for the classic fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked—very fresh fish, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and homemade gravy and dressing. Accompanying this were onion rings and french fries that were elevated to gourmet status with the addition of Parmesan cheese and a unique blend of spices. Each bite was savoury and satisfying, showcasing the kitchen's attention to detail. The standout dish of our visit was the pan seared scallops, adorned with a delicious bacon jam and served on a bed of brown butter turnip mash. The combination of flavours and textures was nothing short of extraordinary, demonstrating the culinary skill of Chef Chris Mercer, whose talent is undoubtedly evident in every plate. Our dining experience was further enriched by impeccable service. Our server, Jordan, was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we felt welcomed and well-cared for throughout our meal. As we savoured our meal, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction and contentment. The combination of excellent food, stunning views, and top-notch service made our visit truly memorable.
